ABOUT ANNA WILSON & MONTY POWELL

Americana duo, Troubadour 77, is the brainchild of Grammy award-winning singer-songwriters, Anna Wilson (Piano/Lead Vocals) and Monty Powell (Guitar/Vocals).

Wilson and Powell have been married for 19 years and making music together as artists, songwriters and producers in Nashville for over three decades.  Collectively they have written a dozen #1 songs and countless album cuts that appear on over 70 million records, have co-produced unique special projects that pay tribute to the Eagles, Billy Joel and the Countrypolitan era of music, and penned the international theme song for Habitat for Humanity.  Powell was a key creative force in establishing the mega success story of Keith Urban.  He was his early producer and one of Urban’s top collaborators for many years, earning Golden Globe nominations and countless industry awards for the songs they composed together.  Additionally, his handwritten manuscript of his classic hit “Days Go By” is on display in the permanent collection at The Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, TN.  For her part, Wilson has been hailed as the queen of the country-jazz duet, performing numerous times on the Grand Ole Opry.  She is an award-winning songwriter who has written and recorded with numerous artists from Lady Antebellum, Reba McEntire, to legends Ray Price, Connie Smith and Kenny Rogers. Together, these storytellers will take you on a musical journey that will make you laugh, cry, stop and think, and yes celebrate the power of a song!

ABOUT THE VENUE

Kelley Creek Farms is located 465 North 9000 East in Huntsville, Utah.

As more and more places like this give way to developments and homes – so we’re proud to be holding our fundraiser at Kelley Creek Farms. Roughly 60 of their 80 acres are dedicated to agricultural pursuits, while the other 20 are used to host events and serve as a wildlife refuge. While at Kelley Creek Farms, you will be able to  enjoy the historic Diamond D horse barn, and be surrounded by the scenic Wasatch mountains on every side.

Walk around. Or sit, and just be. See the farm’s namesake spring as it rages in the Spring, or begins its summer long hibernation process to feed pastures and hidden groves. You can relax under the shade of one of the biggest cottonwood trees you’ve ever seen, or take in panoramic views of the verdant and fertile Ogden Valley with Ben Lomond and Mt Ogden peaks looking on.
